Ko Olina Cat
A beautiful brand-new boat, snorkeling, dolphins, delicious food and drinks, and five-star service worthy of the Ko Olina brand - Hawaii Nautical provides it all. The brand new Ko Olina Cat is an experience that can't be beat. Accomodates up to 49 passengers.

Morning Dolphin Snorkel Sail 9 a.m. to Noon
$99.50 per adult
$83.50 per child (ages 4-11)
Children ages 3 and under free
Captain and crew gratuity at the guests' discretion

This excursion begins with sailing along the Leeward Coast area where playful dolphins call home - just up the coast from Ko Olina Resort & Marina. Dolphins most often are soon in sight and ready to put on a show as the jump, spin and splash in the water. Turtles often swim by to say hi, too. During the winter months, whales are likely to come into sight as well. If dolphins are found, time is spent watching them play, then it's off to snorkel for about 30-45 minutes before sailing back to the resort. Snorkeling observation of dolphins depends on dolphin behavior and is at the captain's discretion. The emphasis on this trip is more sight-seeing, whereas the afternoon trip is more active in terms of sailing and more snorkeling. Food aboard this trip includes such breakfast selections as muffins, croissants or other breakfast breads; mixed fruit salad; whole bananas; granola bars; coffee, milk, juice, water and soda.

Afternoon Dolphin Snorkel Sail 1 to 4 p.m.
$99.50 per adult
$83.50 per child (ages 4-11)
Children ages 3 and under free
Captain and crew gratuity at the guests' discretion

This trip emphasizes sailing and snorkeling for the guest seeking an active adventure. The trip begins with snorkeling and swimming after a brief sail to the snorkel spot. In-the-water time is longer on this trip than on the morning sail, and there's more time for beginning snorkelers to receive instruction from the helpful crew. Snorkeling observation of dolphins depends on dolphin behavior and is at the captain's discretion. If the dependable Hawaiian winds allow, swimming is followed by more sailing aboard the fast, sleek, stable catamaran. Guests seeking a more adventurous ride can enjoy spray from the warm blue water when seated in the nets at the front of the boat.
Food aboard this trip includes such lunch selections as sandwiches; chips; mixed fruit salad, whole bananas or oranges; a baked dessert item; juice, soda and water; beer and Ko Olina Cat's special mixed tropical drink. 2 free alcoholic drinks per adult; additional may be purchased.

Sunset Cocktail Cruise 5-7 p.m. winter, 5:30-7:30 p.m. summer
$45 per adult
$35 per child (ages 4-11)
Children ages 3 and under free
Captain and crew gratuity at the guests' discretion

This cocktail cruise offers a comfortable evening sail, great drinks and fun company and ends with a beautiful sunset. A full range of drinks are available from the full bar. Assorted bar snacks include Buffalo wings, meatballs with marinara sauce, French bread, chips, and fresh veggie platter. This fun cruise makes an evening get-together even better when "happy hour" takes to the sea. 2 free alcoholic drinks per adult; additional may be purchased.

Dive Sites:
Coral Gardens/KoOlina Reef (easy to intermediate, 20-60 feet, 15 minutes from harbor)
Vibrant colors adorn one of the oldest reefs on Oahu. Protected by the natural formation of the Leeward coast, a great volume of growth comes up into shallow areas. Numerous coral trees feature all types of subtropical corals. Abundant sealife including moray eels and numerous Hawaiian fish swim dwell here.

Wreck of the Mahi (intermediate to advanced, 90-100 feet, 25 minutes from harbor)
This retired WWII shipwreck dates back to the mid-1980s. The nearly 200-foot-long ship lies upright and has been surrounded by coral growth. Explore the exterior intricacies of three decks and the collapsed pilot house, as marine life including octopus, eagle rays, and countless tropical fish swim in and out.

Kimo's Caves (intermediate to advanced, 60-100 feet, 15 minutes from harbor)
Off the end of Ko Olina Reef, just before the drops off into 200 feet of water, is a formation of cliffs, caves and overhangs with breathtaking coral formations, arches and caves to swim in and out of, and a great opportunity to see small white-tip reef sharks.

Sunken Barge (intermediate, 70 feet, 30 minutes from harbor)
This wreck has been on the seafloor longer than the famous Mahi, and as such it hosts a heavier coral growth and a greater abundance of sealife. Marine life you are likely to see includes eagle rays, turtles and perhaps a whale swimming by during season.

Nanakuli Ledge (easy to intermediate, 20-60 feet, 20 minutes from harbor)
Close to shore and out of the wind, the Nanakuli Ledge features tall-tree coral heads that are chock full of fish. A series of reefs jet out like fingers from the shore, and you can swim up, down, over and under them. There is a good chance of seeing large turtles and moray eels.

LCU Deep dive (advanced, 95 feet, 30 minutes from harbor)
This old upside-down "landing craft utility vehicle" on a sandy bottom offers swim-throughs as well as fantastic black corals. There is also a chance of seeing white-tip reef sharks.

LCU Shallow dive (intermediate, 75 feet, 30 minutes from harbor)
Similar in location to the deeper LCU, this dive offers more bottom time and views of a nearby reef.

Airplane wreck (advanced, 80-100 feet with 60-foot option, 40 minutes from harbor)
This site combines a twin-engine Beechcraft wreck with a beautiful nearby reef. Coral in this area is healthy and colorful, and is home to crabs and eels. The top of the reef here is just 60 feet if you prefer more bottom time.

Makaha Caverns (beginner, 15-40 feet, 40 minutes from harbor)
This site has an abundance of fish and green sea turtles. This is an ideal reef to explore, swim through and around. The reef teems with marine life!
